Is Chinese AI DeepSeek Really as Good as Other AI Apps? I Put It to the Test!

I recently ran an AI art experiment using the prompt: "Chinese AI robot and Jerome Powell playing table tennis with a Bitcoin ball." I tested this in two AI-powered image generators: Venice (DeepSeek-based) and Leonardo.Ai. The results were surprising.

Venice (DeepSeek-based AI):

Instead of a futuristic AI-versus-Powell showdown, it generated a strange boardroom setting with mismatched elements—regular balls, pens, and a financial handshake. It completely missed the "Bitcoin" and "AI robot" aspects.

Leonardo.Ai:

This one delivered! A sleek, futuristic AI robot battling Powell in an intense cyberpunk-style ping-pong match with a glowing Bitcoin ball. The energy, details, and theme were spot on.

This test made me question DeepSeek, and its sister app Venice. If DeepSeek-based Venice struggles with a straightforward AI prompt, can it really compete with other AI models?

What do you think—was this just a one-off issue, or is DeepSeek overhyped?
