I grew up with the idea that life is complicated. My parents told me things take time. They'd say, "Be patient, Rome wasn't built in a day." I nodded, internalizing this mantra, believing that success and accomplishment were slow-cooking stews, impossible to rush.

Then I discovered work and responsibility. I started my first job, and suddenly, my days were filled with endless tasks, meetings, and deadlines. I found myself saying, "I have no time" more often than I said hello. I was stressed, overwhelmed, and worse, I felt like I was drowning in a sea of trivial tasks, with no shore in sight. My parents' words echoed in my mind—things take time. I started to believe they were right.

But then, something changed. I stumbled upon an article about the Pareto Principle. You know, the one that says 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes? I was skeptical at first. How could only 20% of my efforts drive 80% of my results? It defied everything I thought I knew about time and productivity. But I was desperate, so I decided to give it a shot.

I started small. I identified the tasks that brought the most value to my work and focused on those. I delegated where I could, and I learned to say no to tasks that weren't serving my goals. I…
