Born Giacomo Girolamo Casanova in Venice, 1725, he was abandoned by his parents and raised by his grandmother. Despite this, a thirst for knowledge burned within him. He devoured books on everything from philosophy to magic, eventually studying law at the University of Padua.

His adventures began early. He was expelled from a seminary for scandalous behavior, then worked as a violinist and cleric, always seeking new experiences. His charm and wit opened doors to Venetian high society, where he honed his skills in conversation, seduction, and gambling.

In 1755, he was arrested by the Venetian Inquisition for "public outrages against the holy religion." After a daring escape from the Piombi prison, he fled Venice, embarking on a grand tour of Europe.

His travels led him to the courts of kings and queens, where he charmed his way into their favor. He became friends with Voltaire, Mozart, and Catherine the Great, exchanging ideas and indulging in lavish…
